Being stuck in the hospital for the last few days really irritated me, since I was on suicide watch, but I understood where they came from. Luhan and Tao made it bearable at least. They would come see me whenever they were available, which was more often then not. Luhan coming straight after school and Tao usually came in the afternoon and leave for wushu a few hours after. Something odd was happening with Luhan though. He had been coming but he was unusually quiet. Especially when Tao was around. I wonder if they got into a fight?
"Can I ask you something?" I decided to ask him a day he came alone, and today I was lucky. He looked up from the apple he was peeling and smiled softly. "Anything." I turn to face him, my leg on either side of him. "Are you fighting with Tao?" He stopped peeling the apple and looked up at my face, and for the first time since we met, I couldn't read his expression. "No. Why would you ask that?" He went back to peeling. "You get quiet around him. You never get quiet without a reason." He stopped for a second then continued. "It's nothing Kris. Ah, lookie, I'm done. Want the first bite? I'll feed you." He smiled brightly. He changed the subject, he's hiding something. "I don't want any." I was about to swing my legs back on the bed but I was stopped by Luhan's hand on my knee. "Don't be like that. You love apples." There he goes, in his famous pouted out bottom lip. "Tell me what's on your mind then." I take the apple from his hand and press it against his lips. He takes a bite and takes it from my hand, doing the same to me. I take a bite and nudge him with my foot. "I've just been going through a lot." He shrugs. "Sorry." I apologize, not breaking my gaze from his. "Oh, it's not because of this. Don't be sorry." He halfly smiles and rubs my leg. I
